Our Therapy Dog in Training
We are delighted to introduce Peggy, our wonderful 8-year-old Labrador, who is beginning her journey as a therapy dog with our outreach team.Peggy has already shown all the qualities that make an excellent therapy companion. With her calm, confident temperament and love for gentle human interaction, she brings warmth and reassurance to everyone she meets. She remains composed in a variety of environments—whether surrounded by new people, unexpected sounds, or busy settings—making her an ideal partner for community visits.Well-trained, reliable, and eager to please, Peggy thrives on providing comfort and companionship. Her friendly nature will make her a valued presence in hospitals, nursing homes, schools, and other settings where a little extra joy can make a big difference.Peggy is fully insured and officially registered with Pets as Therapy, where she has now started her training and accreditation program. We are excited to watch her progress.
